He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. - Matthew 28:6

Alleluia! Christ is risen!

We rejoice here at Hill Country as we have begun a new chapter of our Word and Sacrament ministry. Sundays have officially been added to our service schedule. We had a full slate of Holy Week services beginning on Palm Sunday and culminating with 28 people attending our Easter sunrise service. We enjoyed a wonderful morning of fellowship at our breakfast after our Easter service with family and friends in Christ. There were many familiar faces as well as a few new visitors joining our throng to witness the love that our Lord shows through His atoning death and His victorious resurrection that blessed week.

We are thrilled to continue Sunday morning services at 9:00 each Lord’s day with a Bible Study on 1 Corinthians at 10:15. We continue to gather on Thursday evenings at 6:00 for a prayer service followed by a study at 7:00. That study is currently a new member catechesis class, open to anyone, on the basic tenets of the Christian faith. Please pray that the Lord would send His Holy Spirit to work in the hearts of our visitors and guide our catechumens into full fellowship with Christ at His altar.
